Finished the third dual infusion on Wednesday. All went well, everything looked good for the labs, looking forward to number four at the end of the month. Monday, I have a little issue to discuss with my retinal specialist. So a good week all in all. That means that we are a little over a month away from the next MRI and decisions for 2021.
For most folks with the election resolving and the vaccine(s) getting approved, they can start to think about 2021 as a year taking us back to normal.
Although we share that optimism, we need to wait for the future prognosis as it will be determined in January. We will share in the promise of 2021 with all, but need to reserve our participation for a little bit.
The wave of anticipation is already forming and in the true holiday spirit the box of anxiety in the back of my brain is pushing to be opened soon. I actually asked my oncologist if the medicine was still working since I was feeling good (even though that ‘good feeling’ is the result of three additional medicines). Looks like I’ll be spending the next month quarantining in Crazy Town. I always find it interesting how easily emotions can override your thinking in times of stress.
With everything else that has been going on in 2020 I think we’re doing good with where we’re at.
Want to wish everyone a Happy Hanukkah, a Merry Christmas, a Happy Kwanzaa, a good December and join with everyone looking to a good and better New Year
