Had infusion number six yesterday and it seems to be integrating well. Haven’t seen any additional side effects, but today’s walk felt like the day after a big race, all the sore muscles and none of the adrenaline.
Met with the doctor ahead of time and talked about progress. Based on the previous scan, we are going to go in and get an MRI this month, so the radiologist has the best comparator. Since I have a different profile (age, health, fitness) than a typical patient on this drug, we can use these scans to drive the treatments more personally.
So continuing to get out and around as much as possible. Staying positive and taking it day by day
On a lighter note, I just had my 60th Birthday. Since I was born in 1960, this was my Beddian birthday. Different from a Golden birthday where the date and the age are the same, the unusual thing about the Beddian birthday is that they occur every two years, even though the birth year is only one year different. So born in ‘59, turn 59 in 2018, born in ‘60 turn 60 in 2020, born in ‘61 turn 61 in 2022….a man named Beddia pointed this out so it got named for him.
Stay safe. Be kind.
I thought the Beddian birthday was just so you could lay around in bed all day! How are you feeling? Ah sort of feeling Beddian today 😂😂😂
Love you so much! Remember walking around Lake Placid after the IronMan? You made it through that and you’ll make it through this!
Love, Been
Happy Beddian birthday, Chuck!
Glad to hear you are having steady progress. Just think how you are contributing to science 😀
Happy birthday
Brenda
